Job Description

The Clark County AmeriCorps 4-H Grows Here Project is posting for service positions.

AmeriCorps 4-H Mentors will help to create 4-H clubs and lead chartered club activities and/or Special Interest programming. Mentors will facilitate learning using 4-H educational curriculum, programs and occasionally new teaching methods. Topics include science, technology, engineering, and math; diversity and inclusion; environmental and outdoor science; agriculture; healthy living; civic engagement; practical skills; communicative and expressive arts; and more. Members will be on the front lines serving youth as positive role models.

Who Can Join:

Adults 18 years old and above with a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be a citizen, national or resident of the United States.

Service hour commitment:

This position requires 300 hours of service (approximately 15 hours weekly) over a 10-month period.

Living allowance: $2,823

Educational award upon completion of service $1,374.60

Service Period

Applicants accepted to the program will serve until July 31, 2022.
